Brief Relief is one of my longtime herbal blends, combining arnica, chamomile, ginger and white willow bark in an alcohol-free, glycerin-based formula.
I originally created it for those days when everyday activity leaves your body feeling less than thrilled about the decisions you’ve made.

Why I Made Brief Relief
Brief Relief came from the same place so many Binford’s remedies did.
I wanted something useful.
Not another complicated routine.
Not twelve different bottles.
Something I could keep in my herbal cabinet for those occasions when I’d pushed my body a little harder than it appreciated.
I started looking at plants with long histories of traditional use around physical comfort.
Arnica.
Chamomile.
Ginger.
White willow bark.
And eventually those four became Brief Relief.
The philosophy was the same one I’ve followed for more than a decade:
Learn about the plants.
Keep the formula simple.
Make it in small batches.
And don’t add a bunch of unnecessary crap just because you can.

What’s Inside?
No mile-long ingredient panel. Just four botanicals.
Arnica
Arnica has a very long history in traditional herbal practice, particularly in herbal preparations associated with physical comfort.
Chamomile
Most people know chamomile as the little flower associated with winding down at night.
Chamomile has a long history of traditional herbal use and contains naturally occurring plant compounds including flavonoids and terpenoids.
Ginger
Yep—the same familiar ginger you probably already know from the kitchen.
Ginger has a long history of traditional use and contains naturally occurring compounds including gingerols and shogaols.
It’s commonly included in botanical formulas designed to support physical comfort and a healthy inflammatory response.
White Willow Bark
White willow bark has been used traditionally for centuries and naturally contains salicin and related salicylates.

Non-GMO Glycerin + Water
No alcohol. No coconut. No soy. No unnecessarily complicated formula.
How I Use It
Take 1–2 droppers (30–60 drops), 2–3 times daily or as needed.
Hold under the tongue or along the gumline for approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute, then swallow.
Why Glycerin Instead of Alcohol?
This part hasn’t changed.
I chose glycerin-based tinctures years ago because I wanted an alcohol-free, approachable alternative to traditional alcohol tinctures.
Brief Relief uses a non-GMO glycerin and water base.
It contains no coconut or soy.
And because there’s no alcohol in the formula, it’s an option for people who choose to avoid alcohol for personal, lifestyle, sensitivity or recovery reasons.
Simple as that.
Made the Same Way I Started
Brief Relief is still made in small batches.
I prepare it.
I strain it.
I bottle it.
I label it.
I pack it.
There’s no giant supplement factory behind Binford’s.
There’s still a real woman making these products in small batches, just like I did when this whole thing started.
And after more than a decade?
I still prefer it that way.
Is Brief Relief Right for You?
If you walked up to my market table and said:
“I hurt everywhere today.”
I’d probably laugh and ask:
“Okay…what did you DO?” 😂
Because context matters.
If you spent yesterday moving furniture, working a market, exercising or doing yard work and today you’re feeling every bit of it, that’s one conversation.
If you’re experiencing severe, persistent, unexplained or worsening pain, that’s another—and I wouldn’t want you trying to cover it up with an herbal product without figuring out what’s happening.
Brief Relief was created as botanical support for everyday physical comfort, not as a substitute for appropriate medical care.
Wait…Didn’t You Just See Another One for Aches?

Aches & Pains and Brief Relief are two different longtime Binford’s formulas.
Aches & Pains combines:
Angelica Root • Ginger • Turmeric • White Willow Bark
Brief Relief combines:
Arnica • Chamomile • Ginger • White Willow Bark
They share ginger and white willow, but the complete botanical blends are different.
And because I’m bringing some of these older products back through Shop Drops, you may see longtime favorites appear, disappear and occasionally return depending on demand.
That’s the whole point.
I can make what people actually want without going back to maintaining 50+ products at once.

Because I work with botanical ingredients, slight differences in color, flavor or appearance between batches can occur.
That’s part of working with real plants.
A Quick Note From Me
Natural doesn’t automatically mean appropriate for everyone, and Brief Relief contains two ingredients that deserve particular attention: arnica and white willow bark.
About the Arnica
Conventional arnica preparations can be toxic when swallowed. This is very different from certain highly diluted/homeopathic arnica preparations.
About White Willow Bark
White willow contains naturally occurring salicylates.
Talk with an appropriate healthcare professional before using products containing white willow if you:
- have an aspirin or salicylate allergy/sensitivity
- take aspirin, anticoagulants, antiplatelet drugs or medications affecting bleeding
- have a bleeding disorder or history of stomach ulcers
- have kidney or liver disease
- are preparing for surgery
- are pregnant or nursing
- take medications that could interact with these botanicals
Products containing willow bark should not be given to children or teenagers with viral illnesses because of the potential risks associated with salicylates.
